3" Burrell Traction Engine and driving trolley

We are pleased to offer for sale this nicely built 3" Burrell Traction Engine and riding trolley, built to the popular and well regarded Plastow design these little engines are great way into the hobby with it being small enough to transport in the back of a family car yet large enough to be used on the rally field.

The engine does everything it says on the tin and is ready to spend countless hours trundling around the rally-field having recently been re-commissioned after spending years on display in a previous owners living room. The driving trolley works well and offers under seat storage for oil cans etc. For someone looking to put their own mark on an engine some lining would finish it off nicely.

The well made copper boiler is fed by the normal water pump and injector arrangement, it comes hydraulic and steam tested by an independent boiler inspector with a new written scheme issued.

As with all our ready to rally engines it comes with a full set of firing irons, coal, oil and days tuition included, being 3" a 12volt steam raising blower is also part of the package.
